OUR BACKGROUND
The team at Whyrick Builders pride themselves on being hands-on full service residential remodeling
specialists. With over 25 years of industry experience and a passion for remodeling, we excel at bringing
the dream of new life to old spaces. The passion starts with owners, Ken and Carol Whyrick who created their
business on the premise of delivering quality, hands-on, personal service. Their success is largely attributed to the employees,
suppliers and trade partners who share their passion and work as part of their production team.
Ken was one of the first remodelers in the country to earn the coveted Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation in 1994.
He was also named one of the “Big 50” of Remodeling in 1988, another highly esteemed award. He is a licensed Certified
Building Contractor in the State of Florida and certified by the Construction Industry Licensing Board.
Whyrick Builders is an active member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association and Remodelers Council, where Carol is currently serving
on the Board of Directors. Whyrick Builders is also a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau of Northeast
Florida, Inc. Ken and Carol also understand the value of staying current with the ever changing design and product trends.
They regularly attend industry related conventions and take advantage of educational opportunities to learn about the
latest developments.
